Ian Woods, born in Illinois and raised in Dallas/Ft Worth.

Woods established his enthusiasm for art as a kindergartener. From a young age experimenting with various art elements, his work only progressed throughout the years. Since freshman year in high school, Woods found himself catching the eyes of social media with his art which then commenced his career path from 2015.

Prior to Woods signature art style, he introduced his artwork doing digital portraits of pop-culture figures and musical artists on his iPad. His methods then expanded onto doing realistic portraits and exaggerated distorted portraits.

From 2018, Woods constructed his technique in collage work. He would typically use brand logos and distressed them with pastels, crayons, sand paper and more. Woods advanced his craft introducing the use of construction paper, materials and stickers.

Woods’ inspiration originates from his favourite artists such as; Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.


Growing up, Woods studied and observed these artists which allowed him to create his own foundation in art.
Woods being very interactive via social media, he frequently seeks and gains various inspiration from fellow artists whom motivate and encourage him to discover new ways to create his art.
